The person working with us offered us a consolidation loan to help us get our finances on track. Then the manager came over and proceeded to tell us very loudly that our accounts were too messed up to offer that kind of loan and we really needed to get it together. We didn’t ask for that loan in the first place, they offered it to us to help us and then she basically used the very reason they offered to help as a reason to tell us no and embarrass us in a room full of people. That could’ve been handled so much more professionally, but it wasn’t. I shouldn’t be made to feel like trash when I’m trying to accept the help that they offered me in the first place!
