I am still paying the late fees I incurred while Skud & Co was pretending to do my taxes. I was openly ignored. They did not return phone calls, or emails. When I went down to the office to find out what was going on, I found out they had moved. They didnât even bother to tell me they changed locations. This company is brazenly unethical. They certainly do not put their clients first. Terrible business practices.
I have been a client with Skud & Company since 2016 and have had nothing short of excellent and prompt accounting services. Theyâve been with me since day one of starting/running a small business and have been crucial with helping my company grow. I cannot stress enough how much of a pleasure and a resource they have been to work with.
Their services were so bad it sounds like I made it up, they could not have failed more completely. They filed for an extension, held on to my paper work, then at the deadline refused to file for me. They refused to return my paperwork, AND kept my deposit. Every phone call was sent to voicemail, and concerns were answered via email. The cowards couldnât even talk to me. Iâd hire a lawyer if I had it in me to deal with them anymore. My new accountant has been unable to contact them as well. Hopefully they did Anchorage a favor and closed up shop. Good riddance. Thanks for wasting almost 10 months of my time, I guess you can keep the $1k retainer.
