The staff is prompt and friendly, and there is always hot coffee. But the business model is self serving, and hurts the investor. To explain: If you invest in stocks, the commission fee is taken out of your account NOT from the cash....instead the fees are added into the purchase price of the investment. What they do is raise the purchase price to ABOVE the highest price of the security on the trading day. So if the security is slow growing, it can be a long time before the daily price of the investment is above the high purchase price you paid. Then when you go to sell, you are making less profit because the purchase price was so inflated to begin with. So you are hurt when you buy the investment, and hurt again when you sell.I would also have to say the investing advice was poor. IMO if you are not of the correct "click" you can receive contrary investment suggestions.There are plenty of investment counselors to pick from. I can NOT recommend placing your money at DAD.
