I stayed at the Hilton Homewood Suites Hartford/Glastonbury in October 2018. I was in town for a wedding, was asked at checkin if it was just me in the room and how many keys. I informed them that is was just me. Fast forward to the next day..... I realized my laptop was missing from the room. By the time I returned home I realized I was missing money, phone chargers etc.... I informed the front desk before leaving and followed up when I arrived home.Three weeks later, after me calling the hotel and not receiving any returned calls, your insurance company called stating they received a statement from one of the employee's to which she asked me if I knew a certain person. My response was... "yes, he is my psychotic ex-boyfriend." Well, I guess the employee let him into my room because he 'claimed' to be my husband. Did they call me??? NO. Did they mention it the next morning??? NO. Do they realized I would be DEAD today if I had brought anyone back to my room???I could go into the ongoing affect this has had on me, but I won't.... and guess what your insurance company offered me?? Barely enough to cover the brand new laptop.DO NOT STAY HERE OR ANY OTHER ONE OF THERE PROPERTIES. NO ONE SHOULD EVER BE VIOLATED LIKE THIS.
