The bestest best bank ever. They have been amazing when ever we have needed assistance! Dolly, Jennifer, and Eleanor always provide the best customer service! Would give ten stars if I could!
I’ve been banking here for roughly 9-10 years and love it! You can’t get better customer service with any other bank. As soon as I walk in, they know me by first name and always greet me with a smile. They have also waived overdraft fees (about 3) through the years. I had switched from a big bank and can’t believe the difference.
Don’t waste your time banking with these people. I had an account up at the Illinois branch. I walked into this branch and didn’t feel like I was a priority. I am an older gentleman. I felt that because of this they felt they did not have to treat me with respect. I am not the type to write a complaint, but when I feel I was not treated right, I let it be known. These people are worse than Bank of America and Wells Fargo combined. I won’t ever step foot in another Busey in the time I have left on this Earth. My needs are simple, but they made it seem as if I was a problem. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau and am waiting for a response. I feel that the details of my experience need to be known. They portray themselves as a customer friendly bank and bank that does not treat the elderly differently, but that is not the case. I am a current Bank America customer. I saw an ad for The Busey Bank and thought why not give them a shot (huge mistake). I walked to The Busey Bank and was not greeted. The woman in the office just looked at me through the curtain and then went back to looking at her computer. I was finally greeted after an awkward minute or two. I told the clerk that I would like to open an account. She told me "all the bankers are busy and you will just have to wait". I took a seat in the waiting section. Another man came in while I waited and the bankers greeted him and helped him out. At this point I was outrage and just walked out.
I have been with Busey for 16 years. They have financed my business, my building, and my home mortgage. I also have 2 checking accounts and 2 savings accounts for my children there. They treat me like family and they will for you too.
Went in to cash a check. Manager told me that I cannot as I did not have my passport with me. Presented my license and credit card but the manager said she would not cash anything for me unless I had another form of photo ID. Avoid at all costs. I advised the account holder and they will be moving to another bank.

Provided astoundingly terrible service for my CD account. The woman who helped me was very nice when opening but very rude when I came back for service. I will not be banking with Busey anymore they are nothing more than a small time Wells Fargo. I can not believe I opened anything with them.
I dealt with Busey to cash a check. What a joke! I spoke with the manager. Let me tell you she was very rude and not helpful. Zero stars!
