I like the customer service if you can ever get a hold of them, but usually you are on hold 30 mins or more. Once I was on hold for over an hour, then told I had to talk to someone else and yes I was on hold another hr, only to be told I had the wrong person again, to be placed on hold once again for about another 30 minsIf you want to put extra on your principal it better be a large amount otherwise you can’t do it. If I could I’d switch to another lender I would but I only have 8 yrs left on my loan. They used to be pretty good but have went down hill the last few yrs. I WOULD NOT recommend Bank of America for home loans unless you always want to pay the minimum every month and you never want to contact them by phone or you don’t mind spending your day on hold.
