This has been the worst mortgage experience I have ever had. I have applied for a refinance of my house in Houston. The broker, Chalet Morella, has continuously failed to return my calls to keep me up to date on the status of my application. I have called her many times over weeks and left messages many times, and no return call. I finally had to track down the head of the office in Conroe, Texas.It has been a nightmare for me, who has 40% equity in my house and significant income to cover the payments.
