Sharon has been doing my Taxes for more than 10 years now. She is very knowledgeable and up to date with the current tax laws. Most important, if she sees something in my taxes that is an audit trigger she will warn me. She likes when you are organized with your receipts and hates when you are late or tardy for her appointments.I was once 5 minutes late and I got an ear full. It was my fault and I should have left earlier. The reason she is so strict with the time is because she has appointments back to back. She has a great reputation and therefore many go to her to get their taxes done. So if one appointment is delayed, then it will impact all other proceeding appointments for the day. She is also so busy that you have to call her about 4 months ahead for a tax appointment.It’s a 65 mile drive for me from my house, but I continue to go to her because she is so good. I heard she has recently relocated so now it will be a 95 mile drive. I will still continue to drive to her new office. I have had many other tax accountants prior to Sharon. Some of them are plain shady and others are clueless of the current tax benefits and laws. I don’t like to get audited and pay fines so I like an accountant who will keep me in line with the tax laws. I also like to get money back. So I want my accountant to be knowledgeable about tax benefits. If you are a tardy disorganized person and always late for your appointments, then this is not the tax lady for you.
