Worst customer service experience and on going wish I could give less than one star! Through this pandemic ... they have not help ! Was trying to help my mother do an IRA ROLLER OVER REQUEST SPOKE TO MANY REPRESENTATIVES.. THROUGH CALL CENTER ORGINALLY WAS ON HOLD FOR 2 HRS AND CHANGE FOR SOMEONE TO TELL ME THE BRANCH WILL CALL ME THE NEXT DAY !. NO ONE CALLED ME I DECIDED TO PUT A REQUEST THROUGH THE OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AND THEN CALLED THE BRANCH TO PROCESS THE TRANSACTION AND THEY STATED THEY CANT HELP BECAUSE I PUT THE REQUEST THROUGH THE NEW FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.. THE NEW INSTITUTION SENT MANY REQUESTS ON MY BEHALF AND SINCE THE PROCESS HAD NOT BEEN DONE I DECIDED TO CALL THE BRANCH AND EANTED THERE HELP WOTH THE NATTER . THEY STATED MANY TIME THEY CAN NO LONGER HELP ME .. MY IRA CD MATURED AND SINCEI WANT TO STAY HOME AND SAFE .. I end up having to go to the germantown drive though were they stated I had to pay penalties of 250 or more.. and stated the person that answered the phone no longer works there .. I decided to call the branch and the person that picked up was the representative who had assisted us the entire time ... lying Representative then they stated I had to speak to the branch manager and I called gaithersburg and they hung up on me. Then I called again and they placed me on hold for 15 min and no response
I got to say that the Germantown first national bank. has by far the great customer service and I would recommend them to any of my friend who wishes to open an account with them. They also provided me the services that I want. The staff and Amanda are very nice and they help me get the necessary help that I need. Thank you for the help.
