I’m not one to speak in a negative manner but I owe it to the people that are thinking about doing business this Laura McKay herself.Laura was friendly and attentive when we first reached out about insurance. We communicated via personal cellphone and she was extremely quick to respond. After a few months our bill drastically increased month over month so my husband and I would reach out to her via personal cell for questions in regards to the bill. Since we were in the works of switching our auto loan to StateFarm with Laura she would respond to our bill questions but extremely delayed only for her to follow up with the auto loan question. Once we decided to switch over our auto loan and declined financial advice she stopped responding to our text. Her last response was. “This is my personal cell please call the office”. I responded asking her to please assist us in cancelling service back in March and no response. I emailed her several times and communicated that we have switched services to please contact us to ensure there is nothing else that needs to get done and no response. We now received a bill from statefarm triple what our normal bill was and I try to communicate with her one last time before posting my feedback she referred me to the front desk number where no one can assist us with our questions and just refers us right back to her. She has now blocked our number and refused to assist us and we are left with a huge bill no one can explain.She is NOT trying to help you. She will make her sale and do whatever to make her sale and once she’s done she will have no part of communication. I would stay away from Laura and her firm.

I recently switched back to State Farm Insurance with Laura McKay after being with another major insurance company for 20 years. Ms. McKay and State Farm gave me better rates and the customer service is impeccable. Her insurance product knowledge is also exceptional as any question that I may have has been answered timely and thoroughly. I would highly recommend Laura McKay and State Farm for all of your auto, home and life insurance needs.

I was insured with State Farm for almost 40 yrs, yes since age 16,1st auto. After buying my home 13 yrs ago,continued with them for my Homeowners insurance as well. My roof was damaged due to wind damage which resulted in the need for a new one.With a 1000 deductible, just over 6000.00 cost, I was cancelled. This was in spite of this being my 1st major claim and the guarantee to renew my Auto for no accidents. Ms.McKay did not return any of my phone calls. It was.only when I reached a staff member that I was told they never received any notice of the cancellation ,however there was nothing they could do to help or change the status . I was with Mr.Mattingly before McKay took over with no problems. Would NOT recommend McKay or this agency!!
