I leave very few reviews for businesses or companies but I am only going out of my way to save others the frustration my family has endured.We were very optimistic about getting life insurance through CWM group. We actually left another financial advisor to return to the specific person we worked with at CWM. After usual back and forth, physicals, and answering any needed questions we awaited reply of our policies. Due to poor oversight of our applications and their broker (admitted by the financial advisor himself) the price went up significantly for things in our history that were irrelevant. At this point, we were frustrated but wanted to keep moving with the process. We were told that it would be difficult because the mishandling of our first applications “poisoned the well” but we still wanted to move forward. We were told he needed to gather ALL needed info and would get back to us.At this point, we never heard from them again despite calls and emails.I fully understand that people make mistakes and that the world of insurance can be messy apparently. What I do not appreciate as a consumer is not calling back when I can only assume I was no longer worth the premium they would receive. I am sure there are other financial companies out there that will meet your needs and I’d recommend exploring other options.
