Advised me to file jointly after the death of my husband whom I was only married to for 3 years. I also never legally changed my name. As a result the IRS claimed my late husband owed thousands from years prior to me knowing him. I had to pay all that past due. The IRS said they could go back and audit my late husband for 50 years & make me pay. When I became upset with the firm they said to take my business elsewhere.
