When I opened up an account here. My details were already on file yet I was never a customer, so that made me suspicious. I worked with Brendan Wilson who was I believe the manager. Very friendly and overall great experience. The tellers were always nice and pleasant. Every time I called with an issue always resolved and fees waived. Come The month of may a Fraudulent purchase was made at vogue magazine. I immediately called and said it was not me. Surprised my card was not flagged because I never buy stuff like that. But Because of this mix up my account was overdrawn and they took money from my savings to cover the purchase that was not mine. Then my new debit card was not ordered for TWO WEEKS. And they don’t give temporary cards. So I stepped into a branch hoping to resolve the issue. I had gotten injured during this process as Charles Wilson and I are going over the purchases line by line. He laughs at me being injured. At that moment I knew I would no longer be a customer at Santander. Trying to make one more attempt I stopped into branch where Charles Wilson greeted me again. I told him I wanted anyone but him to help me. Calling the manager Brendan Wilson, he reimbursed some of the charges which left me feeling unsatisfied. Being out of work for months I did not deposit any money, so I was charged service charges. Speaking with a customer service rep I asked for the fees to be waived as I would be making a deposit. She refused to waive the fees as they’ve always done so I closed my account. From may onward I had the most awful experiences with Santander.

I tried to open up a business bank account. Which was successful but when I tried to get my online details they said that my account had been opened up incorrectly and they are going to close it. I travelled from the UK to open this account. They only told it was going to be closed once I got back to the UK. I went in the branch four about 10 times on four separate days. They could have told me this on any one of those days which would have given me the option to open up the account at another bank like Bank of America. The level of incompetence is astounding. They told me it was there error well there error just cost me thousands of dollars.
