Working with Chris’s office has been nothing short of an expensive headache.I bought a new car in December 2019. After several phone calls and emails with his office, I am assured everything is all set. Two weeks later, I am on vacation and get an email from Allstate that the coverage on my car has been cancelled as no photos were taken of my car. My brand new car has been sitting in an airport parking lot uninsured for a week now because Chris’s office not once notified me I needed photos taken. This was eventually resolved when I contacted Allstate directly, and with no help from Chris. His office actually told me I was at fault for this oversight.A few weeks later I received a letter from his office confirming that my address change has been completed. I have never moved or changed any contact info since I’ve had this policy. The office offered no explanations. No harm done but it certainly did not leave me feeling confident in his office. In the spring I junked an old car. Again, after several calls and emails with his office I was assured I was all set and the car was removed from my policy. It was not removed. I realized I was still paying coverage on a car no longer in my possession, that I turned in my plates for, for several months. At this point, wishing to wash my hands of this everlasting mess, I transferred my insurance needs to another agency and also a different insurance company all together. How naive of me to expect that to be the end of it.Yesterday, months after I cancelled my coverage, I was auto billed by Allstate for roadside assistance. When Chris cancelled my policy he failed to cancel my roadside assistance plan. There was no way for me to check this as I lost access to my policy when it was terminated.Working with Chris and his office was me doing 99% of the work and his employees making excuses for why things were not completed properly. I ended up putting so much effort into reviewing my policies and confirming everything was done accurately, I would have been better acting as my own agent rather than giving him another commission.

I have never talked to my agent in person. I emailed him last September about how it’s insane that with no accidents in 10 years or more for both my husband and I we pay $2000 a year for two cars!! Both cars are relatively new with modern safety features. I work from home and have under 5000 on a car I bought last June. It’s disgusting. His secretary or someone else (other than him) called me back and basically fed me nonsense and did not appear concerned when I said I was going to change insurers. Allstate’s “shelter in place credit” during this pandemic by the way, in total for me and my husband has been $25 for both of us. What a joke. Worst service ever. I amSwitching this week.
