Only rented for 1 year. During our exit inspection we were told that we would receive our deposit back. A couple months later we received a letter stating we lost our deposit AND owed over $100. Among most of the BS charges was $240 for a broken toilet seat, toilet brush, and toilet paper holder. Do not rent from these scam artist.

What a nightmare! My husband and I moved from across the bridge last year and planned on renting a place for a year before we bought so that we could get to know the area.. My husbands high school friend recommended Ann Hammond. Each rental that Ann showed us was worse than the one before. When we asked Ann if anyone inspects these properties BEFORE they are shown to prospective renters, Ann took no responsibility and her response was that she normally did not deal with rentals and that WE should complain to the rental division of their company. After a day of driving around and Ann unable to find a suitable place for us to rent, we decided to bite the bullet and buy a house. We (not Ann) found a place that we liked and it was being sold by her friend and colleague Nancy Althouse. What a mistake that was!. Nancy led Ann around and Ann followed. It was not uncommon for Ann to send us a late night text demanding that we sign or initial something immediately. After spending about $1,000 in inspections, Nancy and the sellers told us that if we wanted anything done, that we would have to do it ourselves which included cleaning up the mold, fixing the roof, cleaning the chimney and more. This after we had agreed to pay the sellers over a quarter of $1 million for their house, All the while our realtor Ann Hammond stood silent and often complained to us about Nancy. I often asked Ann just who it was she was working for because it did not seem that she was working for us.Long story short, the hot water heater busted the day before settlement and the house was flooded. Both Ann and Nancy told us that there was nothing that they could/would do for us and that if we did not like it we could just walk away. Which is what we did. When the office manager, Rebecca Ward heard our story, she was appalled at what she heard, and told me that she thought that it was time for these two to retire and that she was going to get at least half of my thousand dollars back from Ann and Nancy It was after many unanswered texts and e-mails,that we realized that she was lying to us. and we never saw a penny. We found a realtor with ERA Martin and bought a house. No late night texts or arguments, no bickering between realtors and office managers and life on the shore is now good for us.We heard that Nancy Althouse is or has retired. Now if Ann Hammond and Rebecca Ward would follow suit, you may have a pretty good company

We recently moved from NC to Salisbury, MD. We did not know anything about the area or have any relatives or friends in the area. I spoke with multiple realtors and when I contacted Susan Warthen I was beyond pleased. I could not say enough kind words about this individual. She is very dedicated to her job and goes far beyond her duty to make a moving transition great. She is Wonderful! Keneva & Michael Brock

My husband and I bought our first home September 2017. Our agent was Tom Rouch. I have to say I was very nervous even going into the first step of the Home buying process. Once meeting our agent I was quickly put to ease. Don’t get me wrong Home buying can be and is very stressful but with the right agent by your side it seems to go by FAST and SMOOTH! He and Long and Foster were understanding of our wants as well as our needs. Here we are almost a year later and I couldn’t be more thrilled about the experience with Tom and the Long and Foster team. Keep up the amazing work!
