Horrible service, stay away! I was referred to Homer by my realtor, based on the fact that he specializes in corporations. I have one LLC and one Corporation. 2 years ago I filed for Entity classification election to be able to file my LLC taxes as a corporation. I sent that paperwork to Homer along with everything he asked for. A few months later I get a letter from the IRS stating that it was filed as an LLC instead of a corporation so the correct form needs to be filed. I forwarded this letter to Homer, and his response was that I did not inform him of the Entity Classification election. So I show him the email I sent him back when he asked me for documentation. But even with proof that I had informed him, all he said is that whoever told me to do that gave me bad advice and that it doesn’t make sense. He refused to fix his mistake, he said he gave me already a “huge discount” when he charged me 3 times as much than my previous CPA. Then he told me “ Don’t take this the wrong way but I honestly don’t think you understand how your Corporations and LLC were set up”.Excuse me? I am not a CPA, that’s why I hired you to file my taxes CORRECTLY! Extremely rude!And as if it wasn’t enough, he said “ If you knew about the C Corp then you have a chance to review your tax return before we filed it.”So me, who is not a CPA, is supposed to review the CPA’s work?! Wow...Then to finish it off, he blamed it on the person who did the classification election for me, saying to go back to them and have them fix all my taxes. Complete waste of my time and money!!!Save yourself the trouble and go to someone who will do their job right, take responsibility for their mistake, and don’t disrespect you.
