Called downtown Alpena, MI branch today to ask about concerns with lack of my debit card text alerts, and can not enough good things about my experience dealing with people on the phone at that bank. First, I want to say ‘thank you’ for a pleasant-sounding human answering the phone instead of an automated answering service. Second, I got connected to another pleasant person. She did not have all my answers immediately, but after some discussion, took my name & number so she could talk to someone who could provide the answers. She called me back in a very timely manner (less than 30 minutes or so), and provided the help I needed. Very impressive customer service. (She told me her name but I apologize I cannot remember it....). There is not enough of this kind of excellent customer service around, and I wanted send this (not-so-short) text to again say ‘ THANKS’!
