After 24 months of attempting to consolidate my retirement accounts, the rollover process is incomplete. Web links are broken, I waited more than 30 minutes to authenticate my account with three separate phone representatives, took another 30 minutes on my day off to inquire about updates (There were none.), and I’ve been locked out of online access. Phone representatives ask questions I don’t even know the answers to!What happened to the multiple phone calls, messages, letters, emails, and forms I filled out regarding a rollover of my retirement accounts over the last two years? The representative who was supposed to see this through to completion was either out of the office, on vacation, or simply refused to return my calls. Half of my retirement funds are MIA!The new phone verification and online access have been a nightmare, for me. If TIAA is focused on performance, value, and the people you serve then why I am continuing to experience these difficulties? I’ve been affiliated with TIAA CREF for twenty years, so it pains me to end our professional relationship. This isn’t a productive use of my time, and you are not delivering on your promise of performance or customer service. I prefer to invest my financial resources with a company who rewards loyalty and supports stake holders. It is my sincerest hope that you resolve the issues I’ve shared so that your company, and most importantly the people you serve, may prosper.
